With a few more days to spend and somewhat promising looking weather ahead we entered Switzerland by way of Arlberg pass, after online registration with the Swiss government due to Covid-19 regulations.

Just stunning - you and Roland sure seem to be making the most of living in Europe! Fantastic to have such easy access to other countries and cultures.
ReplyDeleteYou bet, Geoff. Travel restrictions are still in place, and for some Countries it is mandatory to check in online due to their government regulations but finally we are able to roam a little further.
DeleteSuch a beautiful area! The viaduct, the buildings, and the landscapes. Not to mention the food pics. I’m enjoying your posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you Richard, we are mighty happy to be able to get out and about again.
DeleteSo nice to be located close enough to do this kind of touring! Great pics as usual, the only location that rang a bell was Lake Lugano which I think is also called Lucerne? I think I was there in '84 while with the US Army in Italy.
ReplyDeleteYou bet, Dom. There are three cities at lakes that I mix up all the time: Luzerne at Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstätter See), Lugano at Lake Lugano and Locarno at Lago Maggiore. This time we had been driving towards Lugano. It was messy traffic due to construction and we didn’t like the campground settled below train tracks and highway.
