High time to get our camper van on the road again before winter kicks in! We had made reservations at Camp Allweglehen in Bavaria, close to the Austrian border. Our spot was overlooking the campground offering a nice mountain view. The facilities were spotless and included an infinity pool and a sauna. A grocery shop and a restaurant on site catered to our culinary needs and were specialised in local (Bavarian/Austrian) produce. Delicious!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Richard! We had a busy schedule with a family member fallen sick, then Roland couldn't get off work, and I had a hiking project lined up. So camping trips with the camper van had fallen a bit short this summer.

ReplyDeleteWell Dom, not as secluded as the spots you'd prefer, but we only had one neighbour on our level, and he departed two days later. So all was well. We also used the elevator... but downwards as it was less crowded.
