Due to other obligations (such as work...) my next hiking project is going to be a section hike. I have just finished two days on the Rhine-Castle-Trail (Rheinburgenweg), a 200 km long trail with 5700 m in elevation which runs from Rolandseck to Bingen through the Rhineland UNESCO world heritage site, while passing 20 castles and heritage sites.

Arrival in Brohl-Lützing at the railway station after 21 kms. Working infrastructure is a nice feature on this trail!
Auch in Deutschland gibt es ganz attraktive Wanderwege, das zeigen deine Bilder deutlich.. Und gerne lese ich, dass auch das Umfeld mit der Infrastruktur gut geklappt hat. Die Aufteilung auf verschiedene Etappen hat den Vorteil, dass du dich immer wieder neu drauf freuen kannst.

Hallo Werner, hier hängt die Qualität der Wege sehr von den lokalen Wandervereinen ab. Es gibt daher gute und schlechte Wege, je nach dem wie gut die Clubs organisiert sind oder auch Nachwuchs haben/bekommen, denn es sind alles Volontäre. Ich werde wohl Ende Juni wieder weiter wandern können. LG SonjaM
