Recently I spent three days on a walkabout while covering about 80 km (50 mi) in distance and roughly 2.100 m (6890 ft) in elevation. Roland had dropped me off in Freudenberg on the banks of river Main and I made my way to Lauda at river Tauber on foot, where he would pick me up again later on. I was following a scenic trail, and it was easy to follow the trail markers, no additional navigation was needed. Due to the Covid situation I carried supplies along and slept in a shelter/under a tarp. Temperatures were in the mid teens Celsius (60°F) during the day and no less than 4°C (40°F) at night.

You had some really nice light for pics during this "little" hike of yours SonjaM!
ReplyDeleteI thought you might appreciate the sunset / sunrise snapshots, Dom.
DeleteSuper Wanderung, Sonja!
Deleteeine wunderschoene Strecke, tolle Bilder.
DeleteTop quality photos as usual Sonja! Here's hoping that spring in Europe lifts everyone's spirits. Good to see the photo of muscari in the wild - we have them in the garden.
ReplyDeleteFat chance, Geoff. Legislation has just passed laws in order to enforce further emergency restrictions and introduced a curfew.
DeleteHoly cow, just a walk in the park, eh?
ReplyDeleteThat’s amazing!
Gorgeous photos Sonja, as usual.
Thanks, David. A walk in the park would be the understatement of the year.
