A micro adventure - Ein kleines Abenteuer

Recently I spent three days on a walkabout while covering about 80 km (50 mi) in distance and roughly 2.100 m (6890 ft) in elevation. Roland had dropped me off in Freudenberg on the banks of river Main and I made my way to Lauda at river Tauber on foot, where he would pick me up again later on. I was following a scenic trail, and it was easy to follow the trail markers, no additional navigation was needed. Due to the Covid situation I carried supplies along and slept in a shelter/under a tarp. Temperatures were in the mid teens Celsius (60°F) during the day and no less than 4°C (40°F) at night.

  4. Top quality photos as usual Sonja! Here's hoping that spring in Europe lifts everyone's spirits. Good to see the photo of muscari in the wild - we have them in the garden.

    1. Fat chance, Geoff. Legislation has just passed laws in order to enforce further emergency restrictions and introduced a curfew.

    1. Thanks, David. A walk in the park would be the understatement of the year.
