The good: Weimar Constitution. Workplace of Schiller, Goethe, Cranach and Bauhaus. Cultural center and university town. And lots of culinary options. Although we really appreciate Thuringian sausages or game goulash with dumplings, at some point one wants to present one's palate a little variety. We stroll through the pedestrian zone and notice that everything here is marketed with the city's popular names. It starts at the Schiller department store and ends at Goethe's chocolate shop.

Uns war ganz traurig zumute. Wir verstehen auch immer noch nicht, wie so etwas grausames passieren konnte. Gedenkstätten dieser Art gibt es überall in Deutschland, und das ist gut und notwendig.
