Detective Bob, a closet adventurer himself, recently discovered Deb's postings on the ADV-Rider Forum, and found the bike looked familiar. Thank you, Bob, for finding her. I couldn't believe how far Nella and her new rider had already traveled.
Dreams coming true. Accompanied by her Dad Deb got her 'bike legs' in Alaska. And Nella got to see the world.
Let the real adventure begin.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Peru...
Pictures courtesy Deb, thanks for allowing me to post these. Save travels, and keep the shiny side up! Her Blog can be found here.

Cool to be able to follow your old bike in it's new adventures.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can get it back after it's trip and then it'll be able to take you on the same adventure - at least one of you will know where you are going...
That is very cool indeed that you have discovered what happened to Nella. In some strange way, it must make you feel proud that she is on such an journey. Well done Bob.
ReplyDeleteShe's no lemon!
ReplyDeleteYep that's cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing her blog with us, one I'm going to have to sit down with a cup of coffee to peruse properly.
Sonja, thanks for sharing. I'm going to enjoy this, great that Bob found it.
ReplyDeleteWow, look how far Nella has traveled. So cool that you are able to follow her and Deb along now. Good sleuthing skills Bob.
ReplyDeleteWow, how wonderful is that. I've read some of her postings on ADV but hadn't a clue that was Nella. I suspect I'll drop in on her thread more frequently now....and go back and look at the beginnings.

ReplyDeleteI am amazed at where she has been, how many times she dumped the bike, then it broke down, and her boyfriend came for a couple of weeks. What an adventure !
and she is always smiling . . .
