We were spending the weekend at Lake Constance, a mere two hours away from home, in order to attend a wedding in the family. Wasn't it only yesterday that the girl played in the sandbox? And suddenly the kid is all grown up, with a university degree under her belt, a shining career ahead of her, and ready to raise a family on her own... Time flies by.
Before the official ceremonies we had some free time to take a walk and catch some fresh air. Spring has officially arrived in the area, and trees were in full bloom.
The venue for the wedding party was located at the lake, and there was food and drinks galore on the patio, however a rainstorm had everybody flee inside, where the rest of the evening was spent (until early morning 3 a.m.). And despite the adverse weather conditions, it was a heck of a party.
