Rain or Shine, the Walk goes on...

Nothing new under the sun, since activities are still limited to my immediate surroundings. Just walking, healing and back to part-time working as part of the rehab program. I could get used to a 20 hour work week, that's for sure.

  1. Convalescing isn't any fun at all, as I recently found out. The worse part is finally being able to start doing more and hesitating to just do it. Best wishes as you progress to the full resumption of life's activities.

    1. Thank you, I know you have also some experience in that department. I am still cautiously evaluating what I can and mustn't do.

  2. Interesting lighting in your pics SonjaM. The last one had mystery in it.

    1. Scenery isn't too bad, John. Except when you are an ocean person. Then something is missing.

    1. Thank you, Richard. I was surprised about the result, because all I did is point the iPhone into the right direction.

    1. I wish it would last, but 20h is during recovery only. So you have to get sick in the first place in order to get part-time schedule.

  10. Yep, it is official, you live in a beautiful area.

Glad you are healing. The 20 hour work week definitely sounds nice.

    1. Brandy, if I had a choice I would be happy to work 25-30h only. Financially it's not much of a difference given our brutal tax system, but my employer would not agree to reduce my work hours per say.

    1. Kari, you are too kind. We are blessed with the scenery, alas, I still miss the ocean every once in a while.

  12. Sonja, I'm doing 32-35 hours each week, 20 sounds even better.
Continue to feel better and get strong.

    1. Good for you, Doug. I'd love to be in that hour range but usually (I mean, when not recovering from surgery...) 40-50h work weeks are the norm.

  13. 20 Stunden bei vollen Lohnausgleich wäre super. Immerhin wollen die Freizeitvergnügungen bezahlt sein :-)

Toppo, dass es dir wieder was besser geht.

    1. Voller Lohnausgleich? Das wäre was.

  14. Very kind of you, Ed. Given the pics were captured on a cell phone they didn't turn out too bad.
