I spent some hours exploring roads so less traveled that some of them didn't even require a paved surface. Not all of them were leading somewhere in particular, some ended in a gravel pit, some ended at a pond or lake, others simply returned to blacktop.
Silvermere Lake
I let the road take me where it wants.
Hayward Lake
The end of the road...
...but what a view from here.
Back on the blacktop.
Always fun to explore an unknown road and to see what you find at the end, a nice view, a quiet lake or another road to travel.
ReplyDeleteGotta get the Ninja on some unpaved roads.
Dear Sonja:
ReplyDeleteSeveral of my marriages were like your roads, in that they led me to a pit. However, that next-to-last shot was a view of heaven. My K75 does not take to gravel like your GS. It's hard to believe you rode around with Bobskoot, as none of your pictures focus on half-eaten sandwiches or ballet slippers

Twisted Roads
ah, a fellow explorer of dirt tracks and trails....hail and well met!
ReplyDeleteI too would love getting out and about on those roads. I love the pics--especially the shadow--excellent! Thanks for the ride.
