It was during my travels when hubby started roaming, and began shopping for two-wheelers in earnest on his own. I had stopped talking him into bikes long ago. I made this mistake once when buying the Silverwing for him, but I have learned my lesson. He needed to go at his own pace to find his own way to two wheels. Maybe he got inspired by the cherry blossom, the blue skies and the warm temperatures.
Long story short, he dragged me (o.k. it doesn't need much convincing to get me into any motorcycle shop) to the
scooter dealer in Surrey today, where he had found some precious objects.
Obviously springtime brings out the best deals, and we were so close to adopt one LX150 or 150S, and take it home. This was when hubby had an epiphany and asked me if would join him and ride a Vespa, too to help him start his two-wheeled career. What do you think? One step back for me, one step forward for hubby?
How do we look?
Comes a time
when you're driftin'
Comes a time
when you settle down
Comes a light
feelin's liftin'
Lift that baby
right up off the ground.
You and I we were captured
We took our souls
and we flew away
We were right
we were giving
That's how we kept
what we gave away.
