Inner self complaining: It's friggin' cold!
Me reassuring: Hold on. Sun's coming out any minute now.
The Michelin people… It's ok to be four-layered, unless one starts walking around.
Aiming for an artsy shot myself while Roland was fiddling about with his camera.
Stop overs along the route.
We are going this way! No, the other way!
It turned out to be of those days that you just want to keep on riding until it's getting dark, and you're worn out, and only stop for food, or gas, or well, you know what else…

Frühstücks-Club

Looks like a good day of riding to me.....in balmy conditions too!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your weather has been cooperating. Hope that doesn't mean you have a water shortage come summer because your winter was too dry.
ReplyDeleteLove the artsy shot. Very creative.
Looks wonderful! I wish there was a nice croisanterie near me, somewhere near the Cat and Fiddle!
ReplyDeleteAh, we had warmer temps +9C ... but not a clear, ice free road in sight. Love the artsy shot. Heated gear, no Michelin man effect ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see all the pretty lush green. What is the little chapel?
ReplyDeleteSonja, Roland, it's great to have riding weather this far into winter. With the days getting longer bit by bit there is a chance you'll be able to ride right through.
ReplyDeleteAnother heated gear convert though if I were riding farther afield, I wouldn't want to rely on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks y'all for your kind comments. I am still not ready for heated gear. Too much technology for motorcycling. I want it simple, even if it means putting on four layers :-)
ReplyDeleteSonja:
ReplyDeleteIt's been fairly warm here too. I thought of you yesterday as we went past Swan-e-set Bay Resort. Roads were clear but pouring rain. No ice nor snow though.
You should try heated gear, it will make you more comfortable

I love my Reima Baltic's. Not a Watt or an Ohm to be found; just warm hands:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
