Making due with a tight Schedule

We can't go there why?

We had been busy with work, family and stuff lately, and our two-wheeled life had experienced a serious cut-back. But finally our schedules allowed for another ride out together.

Trail of confusion
Destination: A farmhouse turned rest stop on top of the hill
Bikes park in front
Die Vesper-Stube / The rustic tea house

Vesper: Southern German for a meal/snack consisting of bread, cold cuts, cheese etc. usually being eaten between breakfast and lunch or in the evening.

Our scooters performed flawlessly as expected, and we had a great little outing.

Vespas chasing clouds (albeit unsucessfully).

  1. Vesper, an interesting name. Sounds better than "snack" or "coffee break".

So, what would you do with any clouds you catch?

  3. It is simply just fun seeing you two out on the scooters, always making me feel 20 years younger for some odd reason (a good thing).

    My kind of roads too!!

    1. Coop, happy to be of service. Scooter riding keeps us young as well. I thought you might like those trails.

  4. Those pictures indeed speak for themselves. The second one is my favorite. Glad the two of you were able to get out on the vespas together!

    1. Hasn't happen very often lately. And weekends have been and will mostly be full with events of the non-two-wheeled kind.

  6. A tea house sounds like a great destination. Love the dramatic skies in that last picture.

    1. A tea house really sounds fancy. Those spots are usually a farmhouses with an extra room for hosting guests.

  7. Vespers comes from the greek/latin word meaning 'evening' so there you go, its a snack shack for evening nibblies! Lovely pictures, I think I could find a whole lot of happy riding to a place like this for a snack, pics are absolutely beautiful!
