On Anzac Day Roger offered me his farkled up gravel road companion. It was my first two-wheeled experience on New Zealand roads, and it felt like a
dream come true.
We blasted down those Kiwi roads (well, Roger did anyway, and I tried my best to keep up with him...), and stopped only briefly, hence the selection of pictures is fairly small. Riding mattered more.

At the popular fish restaurant in Kaiaua Terry, Roger and I shared one of the traditional Kiwi classics, a big pile of fish and chips before we turned around.
